Dealer Standards, Local Workshop
Look across our workshop floor on any given week and you'll likely see a Porsche Cayenne, an Audi Q7 or SQ7, a Mercedes G-Wagon or GLS, and a Range Rover alongside the utes.
These cars are complex. Many need oil that carries a specific manufacturer approval, not just the right viscosity. Service reminders often have to be reset with a scan tool. Some brake jobs require the electronic parking brake to be wound back through the computer before pads can come out.
We're set up for all of that, and we follow the manufacturer's schedule so your logbook stays complete. What you won't get is a glossy waiting room surcharge.
European Cars on Our Floor

Why European Cars Need Extra Care
Oil approvals
Many German makes publish their own oil standards. The wrong oil can harm turbos, timing chains and particulate filters.
Electronic systems
Service resets, battery registration and electric park brakes often need diagnostic software, not just spanners.
Flexible intervals
Some models calculate service timing from how they're driven. We read what the car is asking for.
Cooling systems
Plastic components and specific coolants age in Perth heat. We check for weeping before it strands you.
Air suspension
Fitted to many large SUVs. Leaking struts or a tired compressor show up as a sagging corner.
Big brakes
Heavy, powerful SUVs eat pads and rotors. Wear sensors usually need replacing alongside.
You Choose the Parts
For many jobs on European cars there's a choice between genuine parts and quality alternatives from reputable suppliers. Both can keep your warranty valid when they meet the maker's specification.
We'll explain the options and cost difference, and let you decide. Some owners want genuine every time; others prefer to save where it makes no practical difference. Either is fine with us.

Booking Your European Car In
European parts sometimes need ordering in, so a little notice helps. When you book, include the model, year and kilometres, plus any warning messages on the dash. If the car's display shows which service is due, a photo of that screen is perfect. With that information we can line up the right oil and filters before you arrive and keep your car's time off the road short.

European Servicing FAQ
Will servicing my Audi or Mercedes here affect the warranty?
No, provided the service follows the manufacturer's schedule and uses parts and fluids that meet specification. That's how we service every European car.
Can you reset the service indicator on my BMW or VW?
Yes. We reset service reminders as part of the job using diagnostic equipment.
Do you work on Porsche and Range Rover?
Yes. Both are regular visitors. See the Porsche and Land Rover pages for the work we do on each.
Do European cars cost more to service?
Often a little, because of specialised oils, larger fluid capacities and dearer parts. We'll always give you an upfront quote so there are no surprises.
