Porsche Ownership, Minus the Drama
A Porsche is engineered to perform, whether it's a 911 on a Sunday drive or a Cayenne towing the boat to Hillarys. Its maintenance has to keep up.
That means oils carrying Porsche's approval, transmissions serviced at the right interval, and an inspection by someone who knows where these cars hide their wear. It also means clear advice and upfront quotes, so owning one stays enjoyable.
Cayennes on Our Floor

Porsche Models and Their Needs
Cayenne
Heavy and fast, so brakes and tyres wear quickly. Some early V8 Cayennes are known for coolant pipe problems.
Macan
PDK gearbox and all-wheel drive. Brake and fluid servicing are the main items.
911
Rear-engined icon. Oil, plugs and brakes to Porsche's schedule.
Panamera
Air suspension and complex electronics need diagnosis with the right tools.
Boxster & Cayman
Tight engine access makes some routine jobs more involved.
Porsche Servicing
A Porsche under warranty can be logbook serviced by an independent mechanic without voiding cover, as long as the schedule is followed with parts and fluids that meet specification. Our process:
Read the car
Service indicators and stored faults checked with diagnostic equipment.
Correct fluids
Oil carrying Porsche's approval, plus brake fluid and coolant at their intervals.
Inspect closely
Brakes, tyres, suspension, cooling and leaks examined on the hoist.
Reset & record
Indicators reset, service recorded, findings explained.
Porsche Repairs
Porsche Checks & Inspections
Porsche repair bills can be large, so a pre-purchase inspection before buying a used Cayenne or Macan is money well spent. We check service records, stored faults, cooling, brakes, suspension and tyres.
Living With a Porsche in Perth
Heat and cooling
Summer traffic on the Mitchell Freeway is tough on any high-performance engine. Coolant condition and radiator cleanliness deserve a look each service.
Tyres wear fast
Wide performance tyres on a heavy Cayenne can wear quicker than owners expect. Rotate where the setup allows and check pressures often.
Battery drain
Cars that sit in the garage between weekend drives can flatten batteries. A maintenance charger helps, and we can test the battery's health.
Using the car for towing or track days? Mention it when booking. Both change how quickly brakes, fluids and tyres wear, and we'll adjust the inspection to suit.
Premium Care, Fair Price
“finding a workshop that's genuinely honest is refreshing. They were easy to deal with, straight to the point, communicated everything clearly, and charged a fair, honest price with no hidden surprises.”
“Took my Volkswagen Golf R to You Beauty Mechanic for a full service and fault code fix. Super easy to deal with, got everything sorted quickly. Car feels great now. Fair price too.”
“Great service from Stephen. Great workmanship from the team. Fair pricing and and a job well done.”
Porsche FAQ
Can you service my Porsche without affecting the warranty?
Yes. We follow Porsche's schedule with parts and fluids that meet specification, and record the service.
How often do Cayenne brakes need replacing?
It depends heavily on driving style and towing. Large, heavy SUVs wear pads and rotors faster than most cars. We measure them at each service so you can plan ahead.
My early V8 Cayenne is losing coolant. Is that common?
Some early V8 Cayennes are known for coolant pipe issues. A pressure test will confirm where it's coming from.
Do you work on the 911?
We work on all makes, Porsche sports cars included. Tell us the model and year when booking so we can confirm and allow the right amount of time.
Does the PDK gearbox need servicing?
Porsche lists transmission fluid servicing for many PDK-equipped models at set intervals. Check your service book, or tell us the model and year and we'll look up what applies.
