Utes, 4WDs and Plug-In Hybrids
Few brands stretch from a diesel tray-back to a plug-in hybrid SUV, and that range means one-size-fits-all servicing doesn't cut it.
A Triton carrying tools across the northern suburbs needs its fuel system, springs and brakes watched. An Outlander PHEV still needs oil, coolant and brakes, even if its engine runs less often. We tailor each service to the model in front of us.
Mitsubishi Models We See Most
Triton
A tradie favourite. Fuel filters, diff oils and rear leaf springs need regular care, and older 2.5 diesels use a timing belt.
Pajero Sport
Triton-based tourer. Pre-trip checks and driveline servicing are popular before holidays.
Pajero
Older but still loved. Ageing rubber, suspension and cooling are the usual focus.
Outlander
Petrol and plug-in hybrid versions. Brakes can last longer on hybrids but still need inspecting.
ASX
Common runabout. Routine servicing, CVT fluid where scheduled, tyres and brakes.
Lancer & Mirage
Plenty still on the road. Simple, affordable maintenance keeps them going.
Mitsubishi Servicing
New Mitsubishis can be logbook serviced at our workshop with warranty rights protected, because the law allows any qualified mechanic to follow the manufacturer's schedule using appropriate parts. Here's how a service runs.
Confirm the interval
We match kilometres and age to the right service for your model.
Engine & fuel
Oil, filters and, on diesels, the fuel filter and water separator.
Driveline
Diff and transfer case oils on 4WDs, CVT checks where listed.
Record it
Service book updated and an itemised invoice for your records.

Mitsubishi Checks & Inspections
Second-hand Tritons sell fast, and many have lived a hard life on mine sites or farms. A pre-purchase inspection looks at the chassis, springs, clutch, driveline and service records so you know what you're buying.
Heading off with the Pajero Sport? Our 4WD servicing can include a thorough pre-trip inspection too.
Outlander PHEV: What Still Needs Doing
Plug-in hybrid owners sometimes assume less driving on petrol means less servicing. The petrol engine may run less often, but its oil still ages, and the cooling systems, brakes, tyres and 12-volt battery all need regular attention. Brake pads often last longer thanks to regenerative braking, yet calipers can still stick from lack of use, so we check them carefully.

Mitsubishi FAQ
Does my Triton have a timing belt?
Older Tritons with the 2.5 litre diesel use a timing belt that must be replaced at the listed interval. Newer engines generally use a chain. Give us the year and engine and we'll confirm.
Can you service an Outlander PHEV?
The petrol engine, brakes, coolant and 12-volt systems need servicing like any car. Tell us the model when booking and we'll confirm what's involved for the hybrid side.
Will a service here affect my Mitsubishi warranty?
No. Follow the schedule with appropriate parts, which we do, and your warranty is protected.
My Triton's rear springs are sagging. Can they be upgraded?
We can replace worn springs and talk through heavier-duty options if you regularly carry weight. Any changes need to suit the vehicle's rated loads.
My Triton's clutch feels heavy and grabby. What could it be?
A worn clutch, a tired release bearing, or problems with the hydraulic system can all change pedal feel. Utes that tow or carry heavy loads wear clutches faster. We'll diagnose it and quote before any work.
