Reliable Cars Still Need Looking After
Toyota's reputation is earned, but it isn't magic. A LandCruiser that's towed a van around the Pilbara, or a Corolla that does nothing but short school runs, both wear in ways the logbook expects you to deal with.
LandCruisers, from 70 Series tray-backs to the 200 Series wagon, are regulars on our hoists. So are the HiLuxes, RAV4s and Klugers you see in every Malaga driveway.
Whether yours is fresh off the showroom floor or approaching 400,000 km, the aim is the same: catch wear early, keep the history complete, and give you an honest read on what's needed.
Toyota Servicing
Have a new Toyota? You can have it logbook serviced here and keep the new-car warranty intact. Consumer law here says the dealer doesn't have to do it. What counts is that Toyota's intervals are kept and the parts are up to standard.
We work through the interval listed for your model, record it in the service book and give you an itemised invoice. Older Toyotas get the same thoroughness, adjusted for age and kilometres.
- Toyota logbook schedules followed interval by interval
- Engine oil matched to petrol, diesel or hybrid spec
- Diff and transfer case oils on 4WD models
- Diesel fuel filter and water separator service
- 12-volt battery tested, including on hybrids
Toyota Models We Work On
HiLux
Work and weekend ute. Diesel versions need regular fuel filter changes, and many later models have a DPF that likes a decent highway run.
LandCruiser
70 Series tray-backs and 200/300 wagons. Heavy, often towing, so brakes, suspension and driveline oils work hard.
Prado
Family tourer. Worth watching suspension bushes, diff oils and diesel emissions components on later models.
RAV4
Petrol and hybrid versions. Hybrids still need oil, coolant, brakes and a healthy 12-volt battery.
Corolla
The classic runabout. Mostly routine servicing, brakes and tyres, done right and on time.
Kluger
Big family SUV. Heavier than it looks, so brakes and tyres deserve regular checks.
Toyota Repairs
Diesel & DPF
DPF warnings, injector concerns and EGR issues on HiLux, Prado and LandCruiser diesels.
Warning lights
Check engine, VSC and hybrid system warnings diagnosed with scan tools.
Leaks
Oil, coolant and diff leaks traced and fixed before they get worse.
Electrical
Batteries, alternators, dual-battery setups and accessory wiring.
Toyota Checks & Inspections
Buying a used HiLux or LandCruiser? They hold their value, which means they're worth inspecting properly. Our pre-purchase inspection looks for signs of hard off-road use, overloading, missed services and accident repairs.
Already own one and planning a big trip? A pre-trip check covers brakes, cooling, tyres, suspension and fluids.

What Toyota Drivers Say
“Just got my corola and get the best service”

Toyota FAQ
Will servicing my new Toyota here void the warranty?
No. Your rights don't depend on the sign over the workshop door. Keep to Toyota's intervals with parts that meet spec, which is what we do, and the cover stays. You'll leave with a stamped book and an itemised invoice.
Can you service a Toyota hybrid?
Hybrids need the same core servicing as any car, plus checks specific to the hybrid system. Give us the model and year when you book so we can plan the job.
My HiLux keeps showing a DPF light. What's going on?
It's usually not getting enough highway driving to regenerate the filter. We read the DPF data, check sensors and advise on driving habits that help.
Do you work on modified LandCruisers?
Yes. Lift kits, larger tyres, long-range tanks and dual batteries are common. Let us know what's fitted.
